Explore the Vibrant Culture in Elvis's Hometown

Tupelo, Mississippi, is the birthplace of an international icon and the headquarters of one of the most visited national parks in the country. While these one-of-a-kind attractions bring visitors from all over the world to the city where anything is possible, Tupelo’s unique festivals keep visitors coming back. The perfect weekend getaway, Tupelo is easily accessible via US Highway 45, Interstate 22, and the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Tupelo’s annual celebration of its favorite native son is held June 5-9. Often deemed a Tupelo homecoming, Nancy Braddock of Laurel, MS, said, "Absolutely amazing festival! We love coming to the festival every year! Everyone in the town is so friendly and welcoming. We make new friends every year.”

Now in its third year, Change Fest is Tupelo’s Labor Day weekend festival focused on skateboarding, art, live music, and the DIY street culture surrounding it. Professional and amateur skateboarding competitions and demonstrations happen on Main Street in Downtown Tupelo, with live music at Change, Tupelo’s local skate shop.
