Saltwater Fishery

You’ll think you’ve stumbled into a seaside seafood spot when you visit this locally owned restaurant in Downtown Dublin. Saltwater Fishery partners with local suppliers to source the freshest ingredients–from wild Georgia shrimp to lettuce from the nearby hydroponic lettuce farm, R & G Farms. A casual canteen by day and a welcoming watering hole by night, Saltwater Fishery hosts live music in the evening at the rooftop bar.

Minute Grill

You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you visit this original, All-American burger joint that’s been in operation since 1963. The Minute Grill serves up made-to-order hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries. Be sure to add the homemade coleslaw or chili to your order. Woman-owned by a mother-daughter duo, this unassuming diner has been recognized by Savor Georgia as a Top Time-Honored Classic and has been featured on the SEC Network’s TrueSouth

Jack’s Hamburgers

This hole-in-the-wall hamburger stand may not look like much, but once you’ve had a sack of Jack’s, you’ll quickly learn looks are deceiving. Jack’s Hamburgers slings mouthwatering burgers and dogs hot off the grill. This locally owned greasy spoon keeps it simple with savory food and fast service. Sit at the counter like a local or take it to go and picnic in nearby Stubbs Park.

Lou Ann’s Biscuits – best breakfast for over 30 years

Family-owned and operated, Lou Ann’s has been recognized by locals as the best breakfast in Dublin for more than 30 years. They’re known as the home of “Georgia’s Biggest Biscuits” because their homemade buttermilk “cathead” biscuits bake up as big as a cat’s head. They’ll butter your biscuit and add whatever you’d like on it–country ham, bacon, a fried egg, apple butter, or homemade gravy. Swing by for a bite to start your day off right.

Holy Smokes BBQ

Award-winning pitmasters Gary and Dionn Lanton prepare hickory-smoked BBQ fresh daily using top-quality meats. Try the tender, slow-roasted, Georgia-style pulled pork BBQ with homemade sauce. They also offer brisket, pulled chicken, and ribs, which were named the Best Ribs in Georgia by the Food Network. Then there’s the pulled pork BBQ nachos, BBQ quesadillas, and BBQ baked potato, plus Brunswick stew and banana pudding. Bring your appetite for a finger-licking good time.

An institution for nearly 70 years, Miller’s is one of the oldest, Black-owned restaurants in the area. They’re dishing out heaping helpings of favorite comfort food classics, like fried chicken, ox tails, and dumplings, along with scrumptious sides.
